Based in Wolverhampton, DJ and producer Satwinder Juttla has been causing a stir in underground circles with his original and refreshing approach to breakbeat music. He has been releasing records since 1993 and now in 1999 we get his full-length debut album. Twisting up Asian influences with drum’n’bass, downbeat grooves and Hip-hop he has created a sound that is not only diverse and original but also totally unique.

Juttla is no newcomer to the music industry and has his discography suggests, and his experience in the past and his foresight into the future can be heard on this fifteen track debut album. The album features LATE from UK rap crew Villains on Wolftown Recordings who adds some deep and positive rap performances on four tracks. Juttla’s tight production and open-minded approach are two of the main ingredients that make this album so special. In an era where no know is crossing the genres to any effect, along comes ‘Angels, Aliens & Assassins’ and smashes all the rules.

Juttla & LATE have been playing live all around the country supporting Asian Dub Foundation on there UK tour, as well as playing clubs all across the Midlands and London. With the explosive live show being something everyone is talking about it’s definitely it’s defiantly something to experience and their gig in Birmingham together with an interview was records for the Carlton TV Show ‘Eastern Mix’ which was broadcast on Central TV on Saturday April 10th 1999.
