Charged set to release EP this summer

Harvinder aka Charged has been seen as a musical revolutionary residing in the fringes of alternative music from eclectic mangled beats to punk fuelled chaos since 1990. Lending his skills to a marginalized undercurrent of talent, constantly redefining and reinventing his tradition of Asian. Guesting on collaborations ranging from celtic/dub/asian love ups to the likes of Womad performances, touring Europe, encompassing a diverse genre of music during the 90’s. In 98 he turned his attention to releasing his own brand of noise through Nation Records initial home of artists such as ADF and Talvin Singh. His first EP ‘Indian Gangsta’ received critical acclaim leading to a string of releases on compilations, extensive TV and press coverage and a busy schedule of touring festivals UK and abroad. His album ’Hero’ was released in 2000 on Nation Records again with rave reviews leading to tours and live performances including Glastonbury UK , Exit Serbia and many festivals around Europe. After a break he is now set to release an EP on Eastern Pressure Records entitled ‘Joyrider EP’.
