As a deejay he has rocked venues in most major UK cities as well as playing in Italy, South Africa, France, Holland and Belgium. Now back with a brand new vibe, JUTTLA releases his first single from his forthcoming album ‘At War With Satan’.
‘Dub Dragon’ & ‘Sub Zero’ are already causing a stir with some of the UK’s more discerning DJ’s and have been championed by BOBBY & NIHAL and NERM & D-CODE on BBC RADIO ONE, MANGA on GALAXY FM and various DJ’s on the BBC ASAIN NETWORK, as well as being supported by a string of club & radio DJ’s from all over Europe.
Both tracks have already been licensed to a forthcoming Dubstep compilation called ‘The Definitive Series: DUBSTEP’, as well both tracks featuring in JUTTLA’s front cover CD for What’s On UK magazine which will be out over the summer of 2008. With a string of DJ dates booked for over the summer hopefully JUTTLA will be coming to a club near you soon. The second single from the album is currently been recorded so expect more goodness from JUTTLA real soon.
01 – Dub Dragon 5.36
This track was the song that got the whole ball moving when it was released as the first single to be lifted from the album. This has been knocking around since the summer and since it’s release as a digital only single this track has been played supported by BBC Radio 1 as well as getting licensed to OYM Records compilation ‘The Definitive Series - Dubstep’. Things go all oriental here as you can’t help but think of old Bruce Lee and Kung-Fu fights twisted up with a mad Dubstep flava. Quality.
02 – Sub Zero 5.42
With massive support from the BBC Asian Network, ‘Sub Zero’ is already creating a stir in certain circles. BBC Radio 1 and Galaxy FM have also championed when it was available as Track 2 on Juttla’s first single. Its case of East meets West in a dirty dingy street in the UK, as Juttla injects Tabla, chopped-up samples and his own certain flavour and funk. Big on the radio, big in the clubs and a superb track to sit and zone out too. This one’s just steps out and keeps on stepping!
Total Running Time: 11.26
